Art provides a new way for people with memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease to communicate when words no longer work. On June 8th and 9th the McMinn Senior Activity Center partnered with Moring Pointe of Athens to host an arts workshop for seniors with memory loss. These workshops were funded by a grant from the Tennessee Art Commission and led by artist Julie Jack.

If McMinn County Schools are closed due to bad weather, all Senior Center activities/classes/transportation/lunches are cancelled and the Senior Center is closed.
Please call before coming to the Center during inclement weather.
